A picture can transport you back in time (9 years to be precise here and quite a few haircuts in between).
A picture can warm the heart.
A picture is sometimes all that we have left when the ones we love pass away.
Why should you consider a photoshoot for your dog?
Maybe having pictures taken isn't a top priority for you right now. You might be too busy, too stressed... Maybe you're worried that your dog isn't trained, or that he won't sit still to have his picture taken.
What about price, are you worried about the cost of a professional photoshoot?
Over the years, I have booked several photoshoots with other photographers so I could be in the pictures together with my babies. I call them family pictures, because that is essentially what they are, pictures of my wee family.
I know first hand how valuable these pictures can be. They're all around my house, together with the pictures I've taken myself. Each picture holds their own memories, little moments in time, captured for ever.
My girl Aika passed away in November 2020 and I miss her dearly. Having her pictures here has helped so much with my (still ongoing) grieving process.
And as you can imagine, her pictures have become so much more valuable to me.
They're all that I have left of her.
They unlock memories and make me treasure all the good adventures we've had together.
Now, here's something for you to consider. At Christmas, I worked together with a few other pet professionals, and they arranged to give their customers a voucher for a free mini doggy photoshoot as a Christmas present.
This meant their customers could experience a wonderful photoshoot with their dog, and pick their favourite picture free of charge!
However, a story reached me about one of the Christmas voucher recipients. Sadly their dog had unexpectedly passed away and they were absolutely devastated that they hadn't booked in their free photoshoot sooner.
I can't imagine how that must have felt, just thinking about it breaks my heart!
Sadly, the unexpected does happen sometimes.
