Happy New Year! The year in review...

Happy New Year everyone. I hope you all had a fantastic start to the new year. 2023 was a great year with lots of things happening.

I wanted to thank each one of you for all your support, love and kindness received over the course of 2023. The Podenco Photography Project resulted in the awesome book 'Podencos In Scotland' and I couldn't be happier with how it all turned out.

Thank you!

Together, we were able to raise around £1500 for the podencos so far. But that's not where our journey ends. Numbers keep climbing every day, and will continue to do so, as long as books get sold.

With every single copy sold, all profit gets donated straight to the 4 amazing rescue organisations.

If you have bought a copy, would you be able to help one more time and leave a review? The more reviews, the better the book will do, the more eyes get to see it, and as such, more potential sales!

That way, we can keep donating money towards the amazing rescues and help more dogs.

All this being said, 2023 was one heck of year.

I photographed about 75 dogs this year (I've never photographed so many dogs in 1 year before, wow)!

Obviously I can't show them all in this post, but I'll share a few of my favourites.

This picture won me the title of 'International Pet Photographer of the Year 2023 - Documentary Winner'. Still blown away I won this amazing title! The image scored a Gold and finished in the top 100, too.

This picture won a Silver award at the International Pet Photographer of the Year 2023 awards.

This trio is the face of my book 'Podencos In Scotland' and also bagged me a Silver award at the International Pet Photographer of the Year 2023 awards.

This image scored a very high Silver and also placed in the top 100 at The International Pet Photographer of the Year 2023 awards.

This image also scored a Silver at The International Pet Photographer of the Year 2023 awards.

One of my personal favourites is this image of Steve and Baby.

It scored a Bronze award at The International Pet Photographer of the Year 2023 awards.

Looking forward to 2024, I hope to photograph lots of dogs again, and make some wonderful memories for their loving pawrents :)

Have a fantastic 2024 everyone!
